The Social Nonprofit: Why nonprofits must use social media to engage supporters, but must learn how to use it first.

The presentation will dig deeply into current statistics on and demographics of social media users, the number of nonprofits using social media across platforms, empirical data on how social networks are currently used by nonprofits, forecasts of the future use of social media by nonprofits, and how nonprofits can develop a social media plan that is effective and inexpensive. 

I can scale the presentation up for advance users or down for beginners in social media. For beginners, the presentation will focus less on statistics and metrics, and instead focus on most commonly used social media platforms by nonprofits (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, and blogging). 

The presentation will also include easy how-to steps for acquiring a Google Grant for nonprofits, which provides verified nonprofits with premium Google products, such as AdWords, custom features on YouTube channels, and others, at no cost.

No matter if you are a tech guru, a marketing genie, a blogging mama or papa, or an artistic soul you want to travel your professional and personal path successfully. You can’t do that if you are constantly stopping at STOP SIGNS, especially hidden ones you don’t even realize are stopping you. Through telling The Napkin Dad Story I will shine a light on the 6 STOP SIGNS we all find ourselves stuck at one time or another. But knowing you are stuck isn’t all that much help, we all know when that is happening. The key is knowing what and where these STOP SIGNS are, how we created them for ourselves (and how we sometimes secretly want them there) and most importantly how we can transform them into GO SIGNS and keep the momentum towards our destination. What does it take? It takes creativity, courage and character. Chances are you have all three at some level so let’s figure out how to use them to get you where you want to go.
